How would you sum up your season so far?
Les SuprĂŞmes Senior (CAN)
« FUN! We’ve been having so much fun together this season, both on and off the ice. »
Haydenettes (USA)
« It has been a season of consistent growth. We always want to be a little bit better today than we were yesterday, and our hard work has paid off so far. »
Team Ice on Fire (ITA)
« We really enjoyed this season. We like both our programs and we really have fun when we skate them. Especially in the free skating, whose theme is a circus world, we had fun choreographing it with our coaches, and it was interesting to try new creative stuff to bring on the ice. We did a lot of competitions this season, especially internationally, so we feel that we are well prepared, even if things didn’t go as planned every time, but we know this is part of the process! »
What are you looking forward to most at the World Championships?
Haydenettes (USA)
« The World Championships are an amazing opportunity to present our programs at their very best and feel the love from global fans of synchro. We love getting to know other teams and creating community during the competition. Salzburg is also such a beautiful and historic city, and we can’t wait to explore it. »
Team Ice on Fire (ITA)
« We are looking forward not only to competing, but especially to living the week all together. Apart from the practices, we always do a lot of team activities at Worlds, and they make us a more unified team and also create better memories.
We are so happy that Worlds are really close to home, and that we have 110 friends and family members who will come and watch the competition!!! »
Les SuprĂŞmes Senior (CAN)
« Spending time together — creating new memories, seeing our friends from the other teams, and skating in front of a crowd that loves our sport as much as we do! »
What is your main focus in the final days before the World Championships?
Team Ice on Fire (ITA)
« These days, the focus is just to be consistent on the ice and unified. We have worked a lot on quality and details, and if we just skate all together, we know we can really skate two amazing performances! Of course, we are aiming for a high result, but we know that the competition is not only about points or placement! We really want to enjoy every second in Salzburg! »
Les SuprĂŞmes Senior (CAN)
« Our main focus is to be in the precious present and be grateful for the amazing season we’ve had. »
Haydenettes (USA)
« These next few days, we are honing in on all of the details that help our performances really reach the audience. Not only that, we are also enjoying the last days together with this season’s team. »
What makes your team special this season?
Haydenettes (USA)
« Our adaptability and grit. Every one of our skaters has competed internationally and has been able to step in at a moment’s notice, despite injuries or sicknesses. »
Les SuprĂŞmes Senior (CAN)
« How strong our team chemistry is! We hope you can feel our bond and passion when you watch us skate. »
Team Ice on Fire (ITA)
« This season, we have a really strong team, on the ice and mentally. We have a lot of new skaters, both internationally and from other parts of Italy. So this year was really good and built on trust, because the “old” skaters at the beginning were guiding the “new” ones. Instead, now we have all become a “new” Team Ice on Fire. We have worked really hard, and we really enjoy skating together! »
